Hi there, are lots of individual questions on how to optimize the hardware for plotting.
I am assuming that there should be a general guideline.
Can someone share these? that would eliminate half of the traffic in this group.
Something like: if your plotting drive can do 500MB in dd if=/dev/zero of=/plotting/testfile bs=1M count=1000
you should have 4 cores, 16 G ram and you should be able to plot 10 plots a day with the following config.
