Deciding to adopt the CG charter

What process will we use to adopt this charter?

Proposal in a CG meeting, with rough consensus (such as a straw poll with plus voting)? This is how we have made most decisions as a group so far.

I think that's fine, but we should be explicit about it.

Another alternative is to use the same process as defined in the amendments section: 30-day vote with a 2/3 majority. That's a pretty high bar, but I think we could reach it.
