In addition to rootless SquashFS Mount (#191), the SingularityCE Roadmap will require a complementary strategy around overlays.

Evaluate whether it makes sense to add functionality within the SIF module, or within the SingularityCE code base itself.

Possibly related: sylabs/singularity#599
