Symphony Factory currently doesn't offer any gallery functionality but we are sure this is a feature most sites will need.

Is this assumption correct?
If so, what kind of galleries do your sites need?

Yes, it's been discussed regarding ninjas.

What kind (look and feel) of gallery do you need?

Ideally I'd like the ability to have images listed individually throughout an interview. Upon clicking one of them you would be able to browse all images via the typical left and right navigation on each side of the image. I was also considering having a grid of the images underneath the questions on the left-hand side.

A gallery would be useful for the showcase portion of the Symphony site. What Mark has described would suffice for this purpose.

Is there a simple existing JavaScript you have in mind or is this something we should write and style from scratch?

I know there are options that are already available but I did not have anything particularly in mind. I don't believe it needs to be reinvented, but I will leave that in your capable hands.
