Project Description

Web3 911 is a podcast program that showcases the latest developments in Web3 by engaging in conversations with professionals and participants in the field. The program primarily focuses on the development of the Ethereum ecosystem, highlighting the unique characteristics of each project.

Web3 911 aims to abstract complex and difficult-to-understand technical details into practical and understandable application scenarios. It seeks to enable more developers and users from Web2 to quickly and easily understand the immense development potential and ecological landscape of Ethereum, thereby participating in the construction and use of the Ethereum network.

Currently, the program is available on major podcast platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Xiaoyuzhou, Ximalaya, etc. It has achieved over 100,000 plays and has a total subscriber count of 3,000+.

Considering that there is currently no Chinese podcast program providing detailed introductions to ZK technology and Taiko, this project aims to fill this gap. Through conversational podcasts in Chinese, it will showcase the charm of ZK and Taiko using simple and understandable language. This will allow Chinese-speaking users to access the latest global developments in ZK and Taiko through non-text and non-video channels in various scenarios.

Timeline

This project is expected to be completed in 3 months, assuming it starts in September.

Sep: Record a podcast episode introducing ZK rollup and the current zkEVM ecosystem.
Oct: Record a podcast episode providing a detailed introduction to Taiko.
Nov: Record a podcast episode introducing the Taiko ecosystem.

Project Plan

1.For the first podcast episode, I will invite w3tester, the founder of zCloakNetwork and an experienced practitioner in the ZK field. We will have a detailed discussion about the development history of ZK and the current state of the zkEVM ecosystem. w3tester is one of the most knowledgeable and accessible technical experts in the Chinese-speaking community when it comes to explaining ZK projects.

2.For the second podcast episode, I will invite members from the Taiko project to provide an in-depth discussion on Taiko's vision, how it differs from other ZK projects, and its current development status.

3.In the third podcast episode, I will invite several project leaders from the Taiko ecosystem to discuss their project visions and current development status.

Throughout the project, I will not only need to conduct prior research on the relevant content in the ZK and Taiko DOCS but also maintain communication and conduct interviews with the Taiko team and other projects within the Taiko ecosystem to stay updated on the latest developments.

Long-term goal: To continuously deliver the latest updates on ZK and Taiko through the podcast format.
