Hi,

I guess the purpose of this white space on top of the app list is to be able to show the keyboard when "auto show keyboard" is set to off, but why is it so tall? Why not having a thinner search bar instead, or a search round button with a fixed position on the right bottom ?
Thanks for the great launcher

Phones are very tall nowadays. This makes it easier to reach to reach the apps on the top. Especially helpful in cases where people move some apps to the top by renaming them.

to reach the top app using only the thumb then I guess ? Ok, i understand, it make sense.
If you could make it optional, that you be great. Otherwise, I will get used to it.

And to explain why: I'm on the small phone team. So my vertical space isn't so big.
Without an option, I think a way to take into consideration both small and tall phones would be to keep this behavior but to make it scrollable. The white space would then disappear on scroll down, and the line which trigger the keyboard would have a fixed on top position, like currently.

@Ottodix Makes sense. I've taken a note and I'll see what I can do.
