feature ID undefined

http://tegola.io/configuration/#postgis-provider-layer says id_fieldname is "The name of the feature ID field in the table" but no where in the documentation is "feature ID" documented.

@pnorman this is referencing the geometry feature id as designated in the data provider. I just pushed a fix which will show in v0.4.0 to support features without ids so when that branch hits master we will need to update these docs accordingly.

Is there another term you would use besides "feature ID", or are you possibly suggesting a glossary would help?

This is a circular definition. It's not clear what properties it needs to have - integer? signed/unsigned? unique within a layer? unique within a tile?
