This might be the wrong repository to raise this issue against. If so my apologies for this, please move the request if you are able to.

QMK Firmware supports macros with macro record functionality. The VIA website appears to only support hardcoded/predefined macros.

Are you able to implement the required functionality for qmk macro record functionality?
