What happened?

I get the error message shown in the logs when trying to send invites through Gmail SMTP. It reports "wrong version". Supposedly this relates to TLS settings? Or authentication...

Distribution version

Linux

What browsers are you seeing the problem on if you're using web version?

Chrome, Firefox

Are you self-hosting?

I've now tried 3 different SMTP servers, differing ports and values of SECURE, and still get "wrong version"
