I know we discussed this before, but we should have a document like libuv has.
That said, I would definitely say that we should support no earlier than FreeBSD 10.0+

This isn't RedHat we're talking about. I don't think anybody will complain if FreeBSD's oldest supported version is 11.2.

In #1748 I decide not to list all versions, but instead saying we support the same versions that rustc supports.
Successfully merging a pull request may close this issue.
