Do you plan to implement an encoder as well as the decoder already implemented?

If not, any pointers to high quality open source encoding implementations?

Hi and sorry I did not respond earlier!

Currently, this project has no plans to implement an encoder.
But there is still the Java OpenLR implementation: https://github.com/tomtom-international/openlr
It contains the reference implementation for the encoding process and is used in production.

Thanks, @UgnilJoZ. We are indeed using this implementation, but Java is not one of our core languages.

Would you be interested in an encoder implementation? (just an idea currently)
