Hi, I am merely continuing the work started by MS Open Tech team here - https://github.com/microsoftarchive/redis. At some point Microsoft stopped maintaining that repository, and we were at the very point to start using this Windows port as one of core components at my then-client. Thus to be on the safe side - I started upgrading the code to newer version (4.0.x at that time), and since then I'm trying to find some time to upgrade to latest (5.0.13 is ready to be released, 6.0.x is still ongoing). As for the porting details - you can see original project's Wiki - https://github.com/microsoftarchive/redis/wiki. My tasks are rather trivial - I do a diff with given version of original Redis and look for Windows-specific things like |
