How to port Redis on Windows

I was searching on the internet how to porting Redis from Linx to Windows and I found nothing.
I see that your project is the best for the Windows version.
Do you have any documents for this kind of work? (porting from Linux to Windows).
If not, can you write down a little bit about that?
I would love to see how you port the project to windows.

Hi,

I am merely continuing the work started by MS Open Tech team here - https://github.com/microsoftarchive/redis. At some point Microsoft stopped maintaining that repository, and we were at the very point to start using this Windows port as one of core components at my then-client. Thus to be on the safe side - I started upgrading the code to newer version (4.0.x at that time), and since then I'm trying to find some time to upgrade to latest (5.0.13 is ready to be released, 6.0.x is still ongoing). As for the porting details - you can see original project's Wiki - https://github.com/microsoftarchive/redis/wiki. My tasks are rather trivial - I do a diff with given version of original Redis and look for Windows-specific things like long long type being re-written to PORT_LONGLONG, or some different handling of Linux-specific code (sockets, file descriptors, etc.). Yet, it takes quite a lot of time :)
