Suggested feature: group photo updates

I think it would be fun to add the old group photos to the website! With dates and/or names, we can keep track of who has been through the group at different times.

I don't know the best way or place to do this. Perhaps continuing to add photos labeled in some way to the carousel, or having a new page for retired group photos?

We can start going through the old photos and compiling a list.. I'm sure I have some saved

according to @Ezra-Alexander, old photos might be in the drupal server; check and import them later

Clarifying questions

• What format do we want to include the old group photos in? Perhaps have the main one as a static image and then a carousel for the old ones? Or a gallery of old ones?
• How should I know which photos to include (all that have been shared except for when explicitly indicated as not to share?)

Personally, I would prefer if we put current-ish and official-looking photos on the main page as the photo carousel, and old old super old or fun photos on a separate page.

Regarding your second question, I think it is up to the webmaster! The webmaster could move around the photos, delete them, or photoshop out enemies :)

Troy seemed averse to adding the "fun" group outing pictures, so maybe we start with just the full group official photos? and maybe a group one at each conference?

Yes yes I meant conference photos as 'fun' photos :) 'Wild' photos probably don't have a place on the website
