remote: error: Required status check "EasyCLA" is expected.   

Looks like the bot needs EasyCLA somehow enabled for it or it needs rules to bypass the branch rules

There's a few ways to handle this, see above. I'm not sure what ToIP would prefer to do here.

We do not use the autogen process at this time, so I think this is probably a non-issue for now.
