Sadly it does not work fully on my system.
It does not follow the mouse. Mouse position: Point(x=1698, y=81) is always the same value.
I guess it has to do with using Wayland so I tried under Xorg and there it works kinda (crashing sometimes and only adjusting to y(?) axis [vertical]).
Nobara 38 (Fedora 38 based), Gnome 44, Wayland
I looked up your code and as you use pwc for getting mouse position I guess it is an issue of pwc?
But I did not see any issue on their repo regarding Wayland.
