Yes, the unique portions of the name are shown in the square brackets.
I added a mention in the UI section. Note that you can press the left arrow key again to show the full path. |

Additional question, why is that after invoking lnav with Can the path has proper (the latter) form the first time lnav is invoked? |

After opening two remote files in lnav with the following paths
some_host:/a/b/c/x/file.log
and
some_host:/a/b/d/x/file.log
and pressing left arrow key to see extended filenames lnav shows
[c]/file.log
or
[d]/file.log
for entries from the first and the second file respectively.c
andd
are the first different directories in these two paths.Is this the algorithm used for choosing what to show in brackets?
Is this documented somewhere in the docs?
