How to show only new entries and drop old ones

Is there a way to clear current "view" and only show new entries coming from log file?

I read manual more and I think I didn't get lnav concept at first place. I was looking for something for raw text files.

Will :hide-lines-begore here work with normal text file (in case log format is not recognized)?

As long as timestamps are recognized I don't see a reason it should not work but @tstack could give definitive answer.

Sorry, :hide-lines-before only works with views that are time-based, like LOG.
