If you're looking at a particular frame of an animation, frame 50 for example, then use the "load field animation" button to load an animation with fewer frames than that, Kimera throws an error 9 (unknown error loading animation) and fails to load the animation. Then if you click one of the arrows to scroll through the frames, it gives a "subscript out of range" error and crashes. It only seems to do this if you have a part of the model selected.

Hey Amy,

Thanks for sharing this bug. Can you please provide useful files and how-to replicate steps in order to ease the solution to this issue?

Cheers!

Sure thing! Here's a Tifa model you can test with.
Tifa.zip

To reproduce:

  1. Click "Open model" and choose AAGB.hrc
  2. Click "Load field animation" and choose ABCE.A
  3. Scroll to any animation frame besides 0 and select any part of the model—for example, Tifa's head.
  4. Click "Load field animation" and choose ABCD.A
  5. It should throw an error as described in the original post.
