Describe the bug

Hi there, recently decided to swap over to Bazzite on my gaming laptop. Have been on linux full time and done my fair share of distro hopping, but decided I wanted something turn-key for on the go/travel use gaming.

Overall very happy with the stability and performance considering the immutable file system as I am a tinkerer.

Only annoyance, the reason I'm submitting this issue, is related to the KDE Power Management.
The applet will not show current status or update when the laptop is connected/disconnected until restarted. Will say fully-charged when unplugged or a percentage when plugged in. Requires a system restart for the percentage/status to update. This occurrence does not happen on any other distro that I have used.

Errors are logged using journalctl -f:
Nov 11 22:06:19 bazzite (udev-worker)[6361]: BAT1: Process '/bin/chmod 666 /sys/devices/LNXSYSTM:00/LNXSYBUS:00/PNP0C0A:00/power_supply/BAT1/charge_control_start_threshold' failed with exit code 1.

What did you expect to happen?

KDE Power Management to update and inform on power condition, weather unplugged or plugged in as well as discharge status.
Apply power mode adjustments to system to reduce power consumption when not connected to power.

Output of rpm-ostree status

Small update. Downloaded Bazzite Gnome and installed it, the power issue is also prevalent in the other DE.
