When installing software, install stops at "executing restore operation" (attached image 1). Attached image 2 shows that error message that pops up.

Hi there,

The current installer has quite a few issues and I've been recently trying to build a new one - many tools have changed and the code has improved a fair amount. I just built one for PISCES 2.1.5, but haven't tested it yet - I'll comment and close this here once I test the new installer.

Also - thanks for reporting this - I really appreciate you taking the time to report the error that you encountered on install!

I've built new installers, but they failed testing - refinements will need to wait right now - can you provide me details about your use case for PISCES and I can see if there's a way to get you started?
