Mitiq 2023 Roadmap

Mission: Make error mitigation easily available to everyone running programs on quantum computers. Objective: Mitiq should be so effective that every quantum program should compile through mitiq.

Support the following techniques and features:

  • Add robust shadow estimation
  • Add quantum subspace expansion
  • Mitiq supports automatic quantum error mitigation calibration and choice of error-mitigation techniques (ZNE, PEC)
  • Combining different error mitigation techniques (add tutorials, documentation, workflows)
