Hi,
I'm on a journey to explore Lagoon and understand its fundamentals, and I find myself in need of guidance. As a beginner, I'm struggling with the complex landscape where most tutorials and examples intertwine with Drupal – a platform I'm unfamiliar with. This connection between Lagoon and Drupal is creating a steep learning curve that makes it challenging for me to grasp even the basics of Lagoon.
Adding to the complexity, I've noticed that many Docker images are adapted with pre-configuration scripts. While I appreciate the convenience these provide, I am interested in learning how to configure those scripts myself rather than having them handed to me.
Could you please guide me towards a tutorial that zeroes in on Lagoon's core principles without delving into Drupal or any other pre-configurations? What I'm seeking is a "Hello World" example, something pure and unadorned, allowing me to focus solely on Lagoon.
Ideally, the guide would encompass the following steps:
The emphasis here isn't on the Python application itself but rather on something simple enough to shine a spotlight on learning Lagoon. The goal is to learn something, So that can be used to extend or paves the way to implement on custom applications.
Additionally, as natural next step, adding enough complexity to extend tutorials centered around database applications or other subjects that might serve as an approachable entry point, would be better too.
I believe that gaining the skills to create Lagoon-tailored images myself would equip me to assemble everything needed for Supabase.
Embracing the philosophy of "Don't give a fish; teach fishing," I would love to learn lagoon. Your guidance in directing me to the appropriate resources or crafting simple examples will be an essential aid in my learning expedition.
Thank you for considering my perspective as a beginner, and I eagerly await your response.
