How to integrate edit of occurrence of event rather than complete event

Hi,
Could you let me know how to edit a particular occurrence of an event rather than complete event?
I can change the dialog of event details and update url for destroy in that. But I'm not able to figure out best way to do it?

I could be crazy here, but I would think that would likely require database queries. Mind you, I will ask this: Why would you want to? Frankly, I'd rather have my guys have multiple triggered events (some being closed off) where the text has to be updated than trying to edit the individual ones on the fly. Just leads to bad juju.
