Using a Ubuntu (ARM64) guest works fine, but I could not access the host (macOS Monterey on MBP M1) file system after installing Spice tools.
The 'builtin'
run/user/1000/gvfs
is usually empty or at least folders are inaccessible. When mounting using davfs2, the file system is mounted, but all files are owned by
root
so are not accessible either. Despite I setin
/etc/fstab
. So I disabled it again. Then I tried sshfs which does work
In my case
myuseridmac
is ths same alsmyuserid
on Linux and 1000 is the Ubuntu user and group id ofmyusrid
.It works, but have to change
mylocalip
when I switch between home and work as it is a different network in the office. How can I get
mylocalip
(which is the indoor IP address of my Mac in the network currently used) in UTM ?Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
