Open discuession - Its time for a logo

The time to find a logo for glide is here.
I'm offering a discussion about the options available and ideas to finally get our branding on.

Each can offer his thoughts.

My offer is to adopt the sugar glider as our avatar:
Obviously, since it's gliding, but also:

• It's fast, by utilizing what nature gave it.
• It has a strong ability to adapt to changes

Sugar gliders are seasonally adaptive omnivores with a wide variety of foods in their diet.

• It has a strong tolerant

• They are cute, friendly, and unique choice.

The first design, included V for valkey, helmet of a pilot for emphasizing speed and performance, shields for emphasizing the security and resiliency of Glide, boots for emphasizing reliability and bulletproof, smile for emphasizing sociality, user-friendliness, and community orientation.

I would happily go with this on a T-shirt, and a sticker on my laptop.

Very nice, but where's the tail? Who can tell it's a glider if the glider tail isn't visible?

Maybe a real designer can do a better job than AI? We tried AI for the Valkey logo too before someone designed the one we chose.

Yea, I also want it to show off its patagiums a bit, absolutely not perfect. Just some first games to show some colors.
Agree on the designer. But the harder task will be to agree on the direction, and the next step will be to work with a designer.
I'll happily take care of that as soon as we have an agreement!

BTW, how did you find the designer? Somebody with a good will or paid?

Now I see the link. Yes, the patagiums and tail are important.
I still want it to seem stable, boots, security equipment and such, if it's in a middle of a glide it will be harder to do.

A logo != a mascot. Is the idea to use a sugar glider as a logo. If so, I would argue you should have something simpler as a logo. For example, I have seen the [Z] logo of zig all over the place, I have never seen their mascot.

As of right now, you can't get a copyright on AI generated art, which defeats the purpose of a logo because anyone could just copy it. We should get a designer for whatever we finalize on.

Understand and agree.
So the logo I had in mind is one of 3:

1. The one I putted on the chest of the sugar glider.
2. Version of the emoji I like to use in slack
3. Preferred - The head of the sugar glider in profile view, inside a circle.

And I think having a designer is a good idea.

The sugar glider logo idea is lovely! I would simplify the logo and make it while in action (gliding) with arms outstretched. I might even add a key chain.
