Thanks for your fantastic efforts.
Can you walk me through the process of getting started on contribution and running the app?
And how to add a new cncf project to the adventure?

Sorry for not responding earlier. I was traveling and this was the first moment I got to sit in front of a computer.

We do not (yet) have a process (but we should). For now, it all depends on whether you'd contribute to one of the red areas in the "Dev" and "Prod" sections, or somewhere else.
