Is there a way that you can change the WiFi credentials from the GUI? I made an appliance using RPi4.
The Pi autoloads the PiKaraoke from bootup as it works flawlessly and behave like a normal Karaoke machine.
The problem is, sometimes I lend this to my friends and most of them have their router away from their TV and so, they can't use the wired connection. As I don't want them to run raspi-config (they might change some other settings as they are not so technical), they end up changing their router's WiFi credentials same as mine so the Pi can connect to their network. This is so frustrating because whenever a friend borrows my unit, I keep on changing my WiFi password. Haha! Also, I didn't put any keyboard to the appliance as my casing is also the sound mixer (a soundcard that has microphone inputs and effects) and I don't have any space left to expose any USB port.
Before, RaspiWiFi works. But now, seems the project is abandoned and it does not work on new installations of Raspberry Pi OS.
Describe the solution you'd like
A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.
Something like RaspiWiFi that creates a hotspot if the system is not connected to any WiFi. Upon connection, they can go to something like 10.0.0.1 to access the PiKaraoke Admin page and from there, they can update the WiFi connection. After connecting, the hotspot will be disabled then they can connect to the same WiFi to access the "pikaraoke.local:5555"
