how to set vis-network background color?

I tried to define the background color of my network graph to be lightgrey. I tried

You need to set the Css classes. I forget which one but have a look with firebug. this is more of a vis question than for the angular directive I think...

Thanks. I've set the class for vis-network, and defined the style of that class in the css file. Still no luck. Would you, or anyone, please give an example snippet? Many thanks!
