thanks, but I thought it was possible to do it via ansible from this repository

Not at the moment, but we may consider implementing such functionality in the future.

The original design goal of this playbook was more concerned with the initial deploiment of a PostgreSQL HA Cluster and so it does not currently concern itself with performing ongoing maintenance of a cluster.

Not yet. TODO #503

there has not yet been a request for the implementation of this function from the project sponsors, so the priority is not high.
