Describe the bug

Hello,

we use a minimal template of SLES15 SP6. As you know, a minimal installation is security best practice.
That is the reason it does not contain the deprecated telinit command anymore.

So we ran into the following issue. Suse can explain it better then myself:

https://www.suse.com/support/kb/doc/?id=000021564

Since I did not find any community case, I wanted to open it to show interest in a fix that does not require the installation of the deprecated sysvinit tools from systemd-sysvcompat package.

Reproduction steps

Please see https://www.suse.com/support/kb/doc/?id=000021564

Expected behavior

Hi @jpbuecken ,

Yes, this is a known issue. We do have an internal bug to fix this by using an alternative way to reboot SLES when telinit command is unavailable, please stick to the resolution in the SUSE KB for now, thanks.
