Welcome to the Open-Data-Portal wiki!
The goals for launching the Open Data Portal include
- compliance with VTA's Open Data Policy AS-IT-PL-5240
- the desire to publish 5 ★ Open Data
- avoiding closed sourced platforms and vendor lock-in with SaaS solutions
- producing re-usable code and documentation. This is to allow for easy reuse or redeployment, with low cost of technical and financial cost of entry.
- compliance with federal regulations such as:
- developing and maintaining tools to help with automation of uploading and updating data
