If any Arturia plugin is loaded and try to load Fabfilter pro L2, it crashes.
In the other way around no crash (Fabfilter loaded and then load any arturia instrument).
I'm using 2 years old comercial versions of them. Not sure if the new versions behave the same.

please be more precise: share a patch that you setup with the MiniFreak V running. then tell us step by step what you're doing to get the crash.

It's quite simple, in an empty patch with VL.Audio & VL.Audio.VST dependencies enable.
Load Microfreak V, connect it to AudioOut, then just load Fabfilter Pro L2 in the canvas.
The plugins are not even connected.

i still have to assume that you're showing the editor while doing so (or not?) and that with "loading" you mean replacing the nodes? either way i was not able to run into any troubles. any more infos?

maybe you can also try with latest demo versions of these plugins on your end to see if plugin versions are the culprit?

No editor visible, no replacing, no insert nodes in the connection wire.
When i say "load" i mean double click the desired plugin in the Node Explorer,
how do you name this action?

"When i say "load" i mean double click the desired plugin in the Node Explorer," i'd call this: creating a node of the plugin via the nodebrowser.

ok i have Fabfilter Pro L 2.2.2.4.0 here and i cannot reproduce a crash given your description.

  • how does the crash look like? any error? anything in the windows event log?
  • can you test with latest demo versions of these plugins on your end to see if plugin versions are the culprit?
