Hi there, you can't simply rotate AirPlay displays I am afraid. What you can do is you connect to an AirPlay display, create a dummy, set it to portrait and then stream the portrait dummy to the AirPlay display with 90 degrees stream rotation. You should essentially follow the same tutorial as with Sidecar rotation, but instead of Sidecar use AirPlay: #1086 #872 Let me know if this works! :) |

It worked partially. So it seems to be the airplay layer resolution cannot be changed even with betterDisplay :( |

what device are you streaming to? but yes, it seems like AirPlay is 16:9 only. I wasn't aware that this is an actual hard limitation especially after AirPlay to Mac was introduced, it's a bit odd... |

(Samsung M5 monitor) I can see this: Yep, just 16:9 resolutions are available. I also submitted feature request to apple, but Probably i should give up on this. :( |

Hi,
I am looking for solution to use airplay display with extended mode and rotate the screen. Unfortunately just landsape mode resolutions are selectable.
Is there any way how I can use portrait resolution on the remote screen with airplay?
