Is it possible to make LoDPI resolutions HiDPI without using a Dummy? #1161
-
I have a 13" M1 MacBook Pro hooked up via Thunderbolt to a LG 34" Ultrawide 5K2K display. In the MacOS Display Settings, I see the following options
BetterDisplay lets me run HiDPI at additional resolutions up to 3027 x 1296 which is definitely better! Ideally, I want to run it at 3200 x 1350 and BetterDisplay lets me do this through a dummy. However when I do, I start having lots of mouse related issues (mouse disappearing, mouse jitters, etc.). Is there a way to run 3200 x 1350 at HiDPI without a dummy? |

Hi there, it is only possible with M1 Pro/Max/Ultra. With the entry level M1 and M2 the maximum native HiDPI width is limited to 3072px currently in macOS, so you need to use a dummy, there is no other known way as of now. |
