Allow DDC hardware brightness control in HDR mode option does not work for PG32UCDM

i was trying to adjust the brightness for my monitor (PG32UCDM) in hdr mode since it is super dim when using hdr.
the option that i was trying to use is "Allow DDC hardware brightness control in HDR mode"

after check this option in display settings greater half of the brightness adjustments are not changing anything,
display only start to go dimmer when i reached lower half of the brightness control.

In this case the display PG32UCDM does not support DDC brightness control in HDR mode. This is common as HDR tends to work with fixed brightness levels for proper rendering. You can try using HDR upscaling instead (or with Sequoia you can remap the SDR brightness up to 500 nits).
