Volume control with Macbook pro M2 Max Phillips Evnia 49M2C8900 - Introduce fractions of % in volume control

Hi.
There might be ways to solve this within the app already, but I have not found a solution yet.
The problem is related to minimum volume on the Phillips Evnia 49M2C8900.
When the volume is set to 1%, it is still some tads to loud in many cases.
This could be related to the monitor itself being loud on minimum, but hopefully BetterDisplay could introduce fractions of volume % to be able to set the volume in .1 or .2 steps of a given volume level % to have better granularity, especially on the lower volume levels.

Unfortunately this is not possible as DDC control requires an integer value to be sent to the display. If the volume jump is too much even from mute to 1 or 1 to 2, there is not much to do about it. :(

But of course if the issue is that the volume slider is unbalanced, you can help with that - you can redefine the min-max range or the slider curve under Settings/Displays/the display/DDC Features...

I can try that. On Windows, its possible to adjust volume between 0-100% independendt of the volume on the monitor.
At 40% Windows volume level, and 1% monitor volume, the volume is quite nice.
So I'm missing that part on the Mac system, where I can control the volume from 0-100% regardless of the volume setting on the monitor.
It seems like on Mac there is a forced 100% volume on the system, and when adjusting volume it changes the monitor volume from 0-100%.
Not sure if its possible to overcome this with the min-max range. Do the min value accept negative values? Its already at 0.

Windows uses a built-in software audio mixer. In macOS this is not available for digital outputs - you can use apps like eqMac for this purpose.
