Imagine an add-on to the main plugin that collects various usage statistics. Examples:

General usage numbers (number of users, avg. number of annotations)
How many people don't finish the process?
Duration of the process
Browser stats
Speed stats (e.g. how long does it take to capture the screen)
Track failed submissions if possible
Where do users click (heatmap?)

There could be some options for simple A/B testing, e.g. to move to button to the left instead of the right.
