missing version in package.json

When trying to update to latest version it doesn't seem to see a new version when using the npm CLI

Apologies for the late response, but I joined the project last month and have been a contributor to a sister project (ngx-ui-switch) for a few years.

I looked through the npm package releases for 2.0.8, 2.6.0, and 3.2.0. Each released version contains a package.json contains a valid & correct version number.

I did notice 2.6.0 and 3.2.0 contain tgz inside of the release which nearly doubles the npm package size.
