Hi,
I'm sorry but I don't undetstand how to use your extension.
I've installed the extension in Chrome (drag & drop of the unzipped folder).
Then I've been to a page with a suitable HDS video, and I've started playing it with Chrome.
Then I've tried by all means to find a place in Chrome where your extension would have written the manifest, so I can use it with Adobe HDS downloader. Where is it ? How can I get it ?
Thanks for your help & Best regards.
PS : you made a pretty icon for your extension, but couldn't you instead just make the manifest magically appear on screen, just like the HDS extension for Firefox does ? It would be so much easier...

Hi. I made this extension for my own consumption, hence the lack of a
proper UI.

A command line for AdobeHDS.php will appear on Chrome Development Console.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. Well, here's a screen cap of my video streaming in Chrome (it's a HDS video, detected by HDS Link Detector in Firefox), with your extension installed (as shown by the icon in the upper right corner) and the console open. Where should I look ?

You need to check the console output of the extension. The one you are
seeing is for the page.

To open the extension console, go to extensions, activate developer mode,
click on inspect background page, it should be located near the extension
name.

Thanks for your feedback. I get it.
Now I have accessed the extension console.
Here's its output. Unfortunately it doesn't display anything:

2016-05-31_030213

My video is HDS, so maybe I'm still missing something.
I've checked the console several times, restarted Chrome (last version), etc.. No change.
You can try if you want. Here is the URL for the video : http://www.atresplayer.com/television/programas/elchiringuitodejugones/temporada-1/capitulo-210-29-05-16%20_2016051900217.html

The tricky part is that you won't be able to play the video unless you use a proxy located in Spain (I use Hola with Chrome, works well).

I hope you can find where the problem is. Thanks in advance !

Hi,

unfortunately, I can't pursuit your problem now.

I suggest you stick with Firefox for that.

I wish I could. Unfortunately Hola doesn't seem to work well with Firefox (tried it on 2 different Firefox on 2 different OS, pages just don't load, emailed Hola about that issue). That's why I need to stick with Chrome for that particular show.
Let me know when you'll be able to get some free time. Thanks anyway.
