Possibly check for SDSS as well. Gold standard data may be the first place to start with this. The search radii used as of 978aabe were:

WISE: 3 arcsec https://github.com/willettk/rgz-analysis/blob/master/RGZcatalogCode/RGZcatalog.py#L136
SDSS: 3 arcsec https://github.com/willettk/rgz-analysis/blob/master/RGZcatalogCode/RGZcatalog.py#L184
