Hey win32ss,What happened to the Superfox browser? There haven't been any new updates lately. Are you busy? Or is it scrapped? Cause you were planning the browser about Supermium's success |

There is a superfox repository on @win32ss profile: https://github.com/win32ss/superfox There is no release yet, so no issues submitted yet. The superfox project is last updated on August 26, 2024: https://github.com/users/win32ss/projects/2 Meanwhile, r3dfox is not updated for 2 months. |

Some of the original target platforms (NT 5.x) ran into very serious issues including OS bugs. And then Supermium issues got worse in September, eliminating the time buffer between then and the start of upstream Chromium UI code removal that will be done in February. So it will not be possible to release Superfox before February or March 2025, and even then, it may require Windows Vista and higher. |

All U need 2 do, Mr. Win32, iz fix the 'hanging problem' when trying 2 save files while MyPal68 is running, & U R 'done'. Should B an E Z fix. Get et heer ~> The 'elephant in the room' thing is Chrome should be single threaded like the old Firefox 52 & others, as those can easily instantly restore & run literally hundreds of tabs with less than a gig of RAM. A simple & E Z way 2 get similar performance from chrome iz 2 never load N E tab until it is clicked 2 view it, whether during 'restoration' of a 'session' or otherwise, & 2 simply toggle the 'process' rather than run things in parallel, like when switching 2 another tab, it runs the page through the same 'program' in 'RAM' rather than a separate 'thread'. People could then 'add threads' if they really want, like 2 simultaneously run music in 1 while browsing in another, etc., instead of literally deliberately wasting as much RAM & CPU as possible because chrome is sabotaged 2 B so broken it forces people 2 close tabs & 'just google it' over & over. It's a $kam, like how the favorites menus R all chaotic & spaced out 2 make them more useless, requiring a combination of 3'rd party 'extensions' which also waste RAM just 2 try & fix what j00gle broke, & worked fine literally 30 years ago B 4 these clowns ever got into it. Opera 12 from the Windows '95 days is the fastest, so maybe the best thing is 2 use that & then offer 'rendering engine options' on a per-tab basis, like firefox 4 most things, & 'chromium' 4 the $hit that is super-broke like j00TOob which is designed 2 reject non-chrome type browsers makign them more slow & buggy. It's all a kind of 'anit-consumer warfare'. If google had their dream it would be a browser with no tabs, & all it does is show you ads & tell U 2 chop yor dik off =)) U can reach me at 'zcookout (at) outlook (dot) com' if U want $ 2 fix this $hit or watever. Think of it like mushrooms. U can grow something 'tasty' from their bull$hit. Nature is dirty. Embrace it =D BTW: No point wasting your time on $hit 4 Windows 7 or L8R. 4 that we can run 'regular' browsers that R way better than MyPal or other 'back port' $hit. Thorium on 7 is the only 'back-port' I've seen that's fast. U should patch things up with Mr. Frick & maybe put out 'foxy fox' browser, with an anime nude of a furry fox girl 4 the start page LOL N E 1 who can't deal with that can go use $um bull$hit like the 'official' version = who cares. Don't let me make U L8 2 yor 'community covenant' meting where U pray 2 'SaintHeavenlyFloyd' = the greatest blackie who ever lived (may peace B upon him =) "Oh sweet lord of Fentanyl, iAm zo gay 4 U. if we could all just chop off our weenies 2 get butt-rammed by yor corpse rod, our lives wood B so perfect" = hey I'm just trying 2 play along =D Maybe if U got yourself a 'big black boyfriend' & rainbow shirt & purple hair they would raise yor 'rank' on '(((GitHub)))'? @EsaiTheMartian2007 For now, you can use r3dfox, which had an update published three days ago. If you want to use it on WinXP, you'll need to install the One-Core-API (which, by the way, had a major update released a day or so ago). |

No, U can use MyPal68, which runs fine on XP, except it tends 2 lock things up when U save files & stuff. The thing is almost complete, but just need 2 fix the bug. Ideally they should just mod Firefox 52 or something 2 use the 'rendering engine' from Chrome & Firefox, as the user interface from Firefox 52 (with mods like 'classic compact', etc.) is INFINITELY superior 2 N E other browser so far, regardless of brand or model =) BTW: there is no 'one core API' = just a pile of bugs that never works right. It's all a big joke, like Linux =P U can fiddle with it for years, or just get Supermium & it runs OK = don't waste yor time. Supermium can also B improved, but comparing it 2 'afterfox' with 'one core' is like 'polishing the terd' LOL |
