Agenda & Notes

  • Welcome, adoption of minutes (5', jkl)
  • Secretariat updates
    • Fast-track 2022-1 amendments were adopted by the P/WMO yesterday, next step: publish to codes registry
      • Action: Anna to set up a meeting for further discussion
    • OSCAR/Space metadata templates and space-related parameters
      • Heikki from Secretariat/Space Systems and Utilization Division is creating WIGOS metadata records for satellite data which can be produced from OSCAR/Satellite. Space-related vocabulary terms. (building templates). Heikki has been invited to GitHub working space to collaborate with experts. John Eyre is happy to work with Heikki. Two strategies:1 produce a valid satellite template; 2. a list of parameters to be mapped from OSCAR-space to Codes registry.
      • Action: Joerg and John will join Heikki for the development of OSCAR/space metadata templates
      • Action: Anna to open an issue to keep track of the progress
    • Status of introducing KPIs and metadata evolution to INFCOM
      • Action: Joerg to contact Rémy(SC-IMT Chair) and Tom (ET-Metadata, Chair)
    • Issue management details
  • Review issues for FT2022-2

  2. 1-01-05 new entries and revision for hydrology domain #295
    • Juan: to remove the ()
    • Anna: is it good to refer to a publication in a definition for the term?
    • Joerg: gravimetric method is the term used in hydrology.
    • Gao: to use "based on"
    • John: state both names "Based on the term used in ..."
    • Action: Anna to prepare a template for best practice (to propose some suggestions on different types of references)

    • Action: Anna to update the branch
  5. Create new table: time zones #339
    • Action: Anna to update the table number
