Timeline for Next Release

Hi @wolf4ood,

What's your thinking on when you might release a next version? I think the last version published to a crates.io was around September of last year. I've been pulling from a feature branch in a local fork for a while in order to take advantage of some of the new features since then. It's not a problem for me to continue doing that for a while, but I can also take a look at contributing to more of the roadmap you have in mind, if there are milestones you want to reach before next publishing the crate.

[EDIT -- per the discussion in the issue... I had been reading from Github's record of releases, not realizing that crates.io has actually been regularly updated. Mea culpa.]
