Version

5.7.0

Description

See wolfSSL/wolfssh#697 that needs some post-release updates.

I plan to publish post-5.7.0 wolfssl release to:

This is the specific hash from the current master brand being used:

$ git log -1 --format=%H
caaa9feb64d4e7709ed98014da5aabb66eedebe6

The existing 5.7.0 Release will still be available.

The new interim release is labeled 5.7.1-Preview1.

  • edit: the original plan was 5.7.0-rev1 but was removed. (Semantic Versioning made that an earlier release). I was not able to get post-release build information (e.g 5.7.0+rev2) working as the publish returned an error:
ERROR: Uploaded version wasn't processed successfully.
Build metadata is not allowed for the version in the registry

The newly published component can be found here: https://components.espressif.com/components/wolfssl/wolfssl/versions/5.7.1-preview2d

I'm not sure if there's a publishing delay, but the wolfssl home page here:

https://components.espressif.com/components?q=namespace:wolfssl

Still indicates version 5.7.0 as the newest. Update: that's because official, non-preview older releases take precedence over newer preview releases.
