When closing and discarding a project in Workbench 46.1 on Fedora Silverblue 41, I keep getting these error messages and Workbench just won't close:

(re.sonny.Workbench:5): re.sonny.Workbench-CRITICAL **: 00:55:04.977: Gio.IOErrorEnum: Trash portal failed on /var/home/sasha/.var/app/re.sonny.Workbench/data/re.sonny.Workbench/sessions/2024-10-24 00-49-02
removeDirectory@resource:///re/sonny/Workbench/util.js:183:10
deleteSession@resource:///re/sonny/Workbench/sessions.js:94:10
onCloseSession@resource:///re/sonny/Workbench/window.js:466:11
async*Window/<@resource:///re/sonny/Workbench/window.js:379:19
_init/GLib.MainLoop.prototype.runAsync/</<@resource:///org/gnome/gjs/modules/core/overrides/GLib.js:266:34

Permissions is Flatseal is in its default state apart from my globally-configured /media.

I don't know why the trash portal is failing for you. Perhaps a Silverblue bug? I'm afraid you'll have to investigate.

Until then you can remove the session manually

rm -r "/var/home/sasha/.var/app/re.sonny.Workbench/data/re.sonny.Workbench/sessions/2024-10-24 00-49-02"
