After only playing around a little bit, I would like to get a more thourough experience with GH Actions. Topics I expect include:

  • Triggering / When / Branches
  • Most common Actions for standard tasks
  • Reusing Actions in the enterprise context (prevent that everyone is inventing their own)
  • Parallel runs / Using Kubernetes Runners

  • Properly testing GitHub Actions (best case locally) e.g. how to test release actions
  • Getting to know the GitHub Actions feature set in more depth
  • Best practises
  • Improving performance / runtime of actions
  • How to prevent copy pasta when using many projects that are similar actions

Get some practical experience with GH actions, setup a pipeline and learn how to use it in a CI/CD environment with best practice.

Understanding the basic concepts of CI/CD, so I can go back and implement some basic pipelines and build on my newfound knowledge from there.
