Constantly dropped connection (websocketproxy error) #1863

I have a Mac/XBVR/Quest/Heresphere set up, I've been having dropped connections between Heresphere and XBVR constantly in the last month. I've had nearly the same set up for years without issue, but it's nearly becoming unusable now. I have tried to troubleshoot every part of the pipeline including analysing for WiFi interference and taking my router back to factory settings. The computer I'm currently using is a fresh MacMini 100% dedicated to XBVR. It can be sitting there idle with XBVR running (the Quest is sleeping), and I constantly get in the log messages like:

2024/10/15 00:34:49 websocketproxy: Error when copying from client to backend: websocket: close 1006 (abnormal closure): unexpected EOF
time="2024-10-15T00:34:49+01:00" level=info msg="Lost 8058515211625840"

I'm certain these messages sync with Heresphere losing communication with XBVR. When videos freeze and thumbnails won't load, I check the logs and after a few minutes these messages reliably appear. Sometimes restarting Herepshere restores the link, but often it breaks 10 minutes later, and then I end up spending 5 minutes rebooting everything. This always gets it back, but it invariably drops the connection within 30 minutes of use.

I've been on the XBVR Discord few weeks and a few others seem to be experiencing similar issues, and no one has been able to pin it down. I've tried every troubleshooting suggestion.
