Having steam controller Xbox Configuration Support enabled causes double movement (Win10) #214

With it enabled, moving on the dpad causes a jump of two items at a time.

This means someone using this feature in steam would have to disable it before using Kodi and re-enable it afterwards.

Sorry for the early morning thinking - this is with an Xbox One Elite controller, as well as with a standard Xbox One controller.

Can you go into the add-on settings and try disabling DirectInput or XInput? The duplicated input probably comes from the Steam Controller driver using both APIs for compatability

With XInput only set, the right button on the dpad is operating as if enter was pressed, but dpad and analog movement seems fine.

With DirectInput only set, it sometimes moves double and sometimes does not function at all.

Should also mention - I'm using the xbox wireless receiver, and it behaves normally in the 20 or so games I have installed.

Can you try controller configuration and see if you can track down the "right dpad as enter" issue? If it doesn't go away then can you upload a debug log showing the issue?
