Lessens Learned
Doing something different and just for fun. I tell myself to be wrong is to learn and improve, but that's very hard to do in practice.
The problem that I expected are not the ones I encounter.
I'm questioning myself how I handled the first issue. Personally I find "Block Chain Technology" a fad. Every thing it does is already used effectively to solve real world problems with content addressable resources and nonrepudiation. Yet they create a new "technology" that's looking for problems to solve. Even if the inefficiencies of proof of -work- waste and global repetition. Human society will always be built on social contacts, not mechanical contacts.
But for most people, it's just something fun to play with. Also my personal experiences of society is different from other, I can't fault those who seek a way out of their current social contracts.
So should I be more welcoming to them? I should definitely keep a more open mind to whatever suggestions they give
