Chunk load/unload causes some networks disconnect #5
Comments
I think we can generate a special id for every me network used security station. So we can link the cables with the same id when the near chunk loaded. But we cannot keep the network always works without its chunk unloaded. Maybe I should find another way to make the uncomplete network work or stop working smoothly. And disable the security system may not be a good idea. I do not want to be complained by a careless server host. lol |
Well, disable would be a config option, fully optional. |
@Eufranio Could you give me a demo video? |
Sorry but I don't know how to reproduce, the problem is just reported many times in my server. A common point that I realized was that all those reports were from peoples with the system over chunks, and one of them was chunkloaded, sorry |
Sometimes when chunks containing larger networks (that extends over other chunks) unload/load, the cables in the chunk boundaries are disconnected. This is mainly caused in networks which have a Security Station. Probably, when the other chunks are loaded, they aren't recognized by the network and break, turning networks off.
Would be nice if you can think in any solutions for that, and if not, add a config option to disable the entiere security system (allowing users to link their wireless terminals in other place? clicking in the controller?)
